We are Smarter than The Economy
Millions of clerks, mothers, mechanics, farmworkers, cleaners, aides and all the rest of us are far smarter than our jobs. We’re also singers, writers, dancers, musicians, comedians, artists, craftsmen, inventors, thinkers and managers. A smart economy would employ our full talents to rebuild America so it’s easy to live in.
But these days large corporations control our land, law and money. They’re dull because they’re obsessed by big numbers. Their numbers decide what gets built, what’s a job, who gets loans, who gets healed, who gets rich, and who stays poor.
Worse, the rich don’t respect us. They hire politicians to tell us they care, who really don’t. Am I right? The proof is that many of us are struggling.
So it’s up to us take control of the Economy. We’ll control money by creating our own banks and credits. We'll control jobs by investing this money to fix our cities and farms. We'll control law by writing the laws we need and shouting mighty loud.
