RECOMMENDATION - Joel Fryar - Texas SDEC 09 Committeeman

Congratulations on being elected as a delegate from Texas Senate District 9.

My name is Joel Fryar and I'm running to be your SDEC Committeeman for SD09.

I am a lifelong Democrat, an unapologetic progressive and my priorties are two-fold.

I do not tolerate discrimination of any kind, not over ethiniticity, gender, sexuality, or gender identity.

I believe our most sacred right as American citizens is our right to vote.

These are the core beliefs of our party so; I am what Governor Howard Dean of Vermont once called a member of the Democratic Wing of the Democratic Party.

I am, above all, a grassroots political activist, a Volunteer Deputy Voters Registrar, and a community organizer.

I began as a Democratic Neighborhood Leader before becoming a precinct chair and a founding member and the Leader of NE Loop 820 Democrats and Neighborhood Progressives. Recently, I have TDP's volunteer training program with a focus providing VAN training for precinct chairs.
