Meet Angelica:
My name is Angelica Earl and I am going to primary Claire McCaskill.
Currently, I work for the Affordable Care Act at the Health Insurance Marketplace with a DHS clearance. I've verified thousands of people to receive insurance. More importantly, I've called and spoken to hundreds of people, hearing their stories about how the ACA changed their lives. I know the inner workings of Obamacare and I want to take that knowledge with me as your representative in the form of moving towards universal healthcare.
I stand firm behind Missourians and support their need for single-payer healthcare, education reform, criminal justice reform, renewable energy, and many other issues.

In the last few days, the Missouri State Democratic Party has decided to prematurely endorse Claire McCaskill. It was an early decision because she has a primary opponent, Angelica Earl, who has been met with an unusually high amount of hurdles from the party, this one being extremely unnecessary a mere month away from the primary election. For the past year, the state party has been operating on broken bylaws for McCaskill. Their bylaws clearly state that they will fairly represent all candidates for the race, or not at all, unless there is a vote for endorsement. For over a year the state party has been refusing to hold debates or other events that could elevate other candidates and recruited volunteers for only McCaskill’s campaign on their official twitter account and website, breaking their bylaws to do so. When it became known that this occurred and the possibility of a lawsuit coming from Angelica Earl towards the state party, they double down and pushed for the early endorsement.
Angelica is not backing down. Her being in this race is holding the party to the standards Missourians, and Americans, expect them to be held to. That being a fair primary. They have not taken into consideration that Claire repeatedly expresses disconnect from the working class people of Missouri. They did not take into consideration that Claire repeatedly throws all of us under the bus with her wall street and big bank deregulation votes, which set us up to plunge into another Great Depression very soon. They did not take into consideration that she has openly stated that her job is to “not fight Trump” which she keeps repeating on township surveys all over the state. Now that we are up for another Supreme Court judge, it is imperative that everyone in Missouri knows where Angelica stands. She believes in less regulations, but not for huge conglomerate businesses that are stealing the money from hard working Americans. She wants to see small businesses, towns, and communities flourish again. She deeply believes the American Dream can be achievable. With that being said, Angelica would never vote for anyone more conservative than Merrick Garland and would fight Trump 110% on this selection.
Repeatedly, we have seen McCaskill and other representatives like her, roll over to the demands of major corporations. Angelica has had enough. Missourians have had enough. Angelica has been asked to stop talking about the overall party’s behavior for fear of tarnishing their already tarnished organization. Her response to this is that they shouldn’t have behaved so disrespectfully and unlawfully in the first place.
