Shane and Selina are heading to Iowa to knock on doors for Bernie. Both were delegates for Bernie from WV and were part of an incredible team of Berners that helped Bernie win ALL 55 COUNTIES in WV!

Now, we have an opportunity to elect President Sanders and we are going to do everything we can to make sure that is a reality. That means working in the early states.  

Both Shane and Selina are going to Iowa and Selina is going to New Hampshire as soon as the Iowa caucus is over for another week of knocking on doors there.   

They are going as inexpensively as possible, but any support you can give to their Bernie Journey would help make the trip easier.

Meet Shane!

Hi everyone! My name is Shane Assadzandi and I live in West Virginia. I've been supporting Bernie since 2015. I believe in him because he can't be bought, and he understands that real change always comes from the ground up - not the top down. During the 2016 primaries I was also fortunate enough to be one of Bernie's pledged delegates to the Democratic National Convention. Now, it's time to finish what we started!

I'll be flying into Iowa on the morning of Thursday the 30th and staying through Tuesday morning. I've also reserved 2 beds at a hotel within walking distance to the campaign office and will offer a space to a volunteer in need. Any support you can provide is greatly appreciated and will be put to good use - I'll be knocking doors for 6-9 hours each day plus providing volunteer support on caucus night!

Meet Selina:
My name is Selina Vickers.  I was a delegate for Bernie from WV.  I did a deep deep dive into Democratic party politics following the 2016 DNC Convention when my own state party superdelegates ALL voted for Clinton, when Sanders won every county in the state.  I've attended almost every commission, committee and full DNC meeting since August 2017 and livestreamed to provide transparency to the process and advocate for the end of superdelegates. 

I had the opportunity to tell the WV Superdelegate Disaster to Michael Moore, who included it in his film Fahrenheit 11/9.

I'm committed to reforming the Democratic Party and electing Bernie Sanders for President because he is honest, has enormous integrity and will fight for people like me and you.  We need a president that is on OUR side.  

I'll be flying to Cedar Rapids on Wed. Jan 29 and knocking on doors through caucus day and be an observer for caucus.  

The next day, I'll fly to New Hampshire for another week of knocking on doors and stay until after their Primary.
